For Nithin, the world did not mean anything till the sun went down. When the night came and everyone retired to bed, Nithin quietly enjoyed the glowing lights of the night sky.
Nithin Kumar Kongari, senior financial analyst at CriticalRiver Hyderabad, came from a non-science background, but developed an interest in stargazing when his friend Venu introduced him to the cosmos. Soon, Nithin began to escape the noise of daily life and find calm in the star-filled sky.
“Outside work, I actively engage in trekking and hosting community events. I enjoy organizing and participating in activities that bring people together, helping me stay refreshed and maintain a healthy work-life balance,” he said.
“Seeing people look at the moon for the first time and hearing their “wow” reactions gives me immense satisfaction—it truly makes my day,” he said.
Around the year, Nithin and his friend conduct more than 40 stargazing sessions, along with other recreational activities. Each session is an opportunity to inspire wonder, he says.
As an organizer, he does face challenges working with diverse groups. But he approaches each situation with patience, calmness, and respect.
Over time, these experiences have transformed him and helped him overcome fear of public interaction. Nithin has learned to understand people better—their perspectives, behaviors, and what brings them together.
His learning reflects at his work in CriticalRiver as well as he engages with colleagues, with events, and with opportunities to contribute. He has learnt to turn ordinary events into memorable experiences. “I continue to learn while also contributing my past experience to create better engagement,” he says.
