Michael Joseph Tan, also known as Tep, serves as Director of Oracle Energy & Utilities and Philippines Country Manager at CriticalRiver Inc., overseeing client engagement, delivery excellence, talent development, and business growth across the company's Oracle Energy & Utilities practice and Philippines operations.

Tep has spent much of his career in the Oracle Utilities space across product development, consulting, and implementation, helping utilities and system integrators modernize customer and billing platforms for greater operational efficiency and service reliability.

Since joining CriticalRiver in 2021, Tep built the Philippines operations and Oracle Energy & Utilities practice from the ground up, creating a high-performing organization supporting global clients and strategic transformation initiatives. He has championed initiatives such as the C2M Training Program and C2M Agility Suite, developing the next generation of Oracle Utilities professionals.

He previously served as a Senior Consultant at EY on Oracle Utilities transformation programs, following more than eight years at Oracle contributing to the CC&B, C2M, and CCS product suite.

Having worked across consulting organizations and Oracle Utilities stakeholders, Tep brings a perspective bridging product expertise, delivery execution, and business alignment, helping clients navigate complex transformation programs.

Tep holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
